			Retained Search A retained search is a dedicated, focused, confidential search for the ideal candidate. This service is recommended when the candidate population is limited or there is a critical staffing need in an organization. Retained search yields a higher level of service and result than the traditional contingent search. This special commitment of resources requires a retainer fee determined prior to beginning the search. Contingent Search A contingent search is used to supplement the traditional staffing practice of a company. This service is useful when hiring needs are less critical and the supply of candidates is adequate. Contingent search provides the same level of professional recruiting service that is given to all client companies. There will be no cost to the client until a candidate of New England BioSearch is hired. The fee for such a service is stated in each individual company fee agreement contract. Contract Placement While New England BioSearch prefers to work exclusively on retained and contingent searches, we will provide contract employment services for our clients to meet their interim staffing needs.
